A well-stocked styling pantry allows crew to create beautiful moments throughout the vessel—from tablescapes and cocktail trays to buffet displays, turndown touches, and themed events.

FOAM BLOCKS, WIRE, TAPE, CUTTERS & MEASURE TAPE

Foam Blocks: the behind-the-scenes mechanics that bring floral designs to life.
Foam blocks can be used for fresh cuts (add h2o) and helps retain moisture, or used dry for faux greenery that can change daily with your designs. Both can easily be cut to size to fit your vessel, vase, tray, or design concept.

Wire and tape are your best friends for shaping, supporting, and creating movement.
When do we use wire onboard?
🌸 One beautiful orchid stem but it keeps leaning over? → Add floral wire for support.
🍃 Want eucalyptus to drape naturally over a cocktail tray or tablescape? → Wire it and secure with tape.
🥂 Creating greenery moments around a buffet or service station? → Wire.
🌺 Designing custom floral napkin rings or decorative touches? → Wire.

Another favorite trick onboard:
🏺 Create a floral grid on wide vase openings. Tape a simple grid over the top of the vase to help flowers stay in position without using foam—perfect for quick cabin arrangements and smaller or trickier centerpieces.
For prep and maintenance, keep a dedicated trio of cutters onboard for pruning, trimming, and shaping. Save the bridge scissors for the bridge. Label the Measure Tape before it disappears.


MIXING HEIGHT, COLOR & PATTERNS

Integrate longer stems into centerpieces, buffet displays, trays, and table runners to create movement and soften the design. Smaller cuts and dried flower stems can be separated into individual bouquets for cocktail trays, brunch settings, turndown touches, dayheads, and guest cabins.
